Stranger Pages is an independent publishing project focused on unconventional voices and artist-led books, treating each publication as a work in its own right rather than documentation. The identity was developed to reflect this position while allowing the press to remain open in form.

Initial attempts to define a single logo proved too restrictive. Instead, the identity developed as a set of typographic propositions, each exploring the words Stranger Pages through concrete graphic interpretation. Some marks separate and lean apart through unusual spacing, others distort to suggest pages or movement, while circular arrangements create eye-like forms that hint at perception and disorientation. Together they form a loose but recognisable family rather than a fixed mark.

This plurality reflects the position of the press itself. Stranger Pages is conceived as a site for experimentation rather than consistency, and the identity resists being reduced to a single form.
