Ashley Kinnard Studio has worked with ODDA Recordings since the label began in 2023, developing and maintaining its visual identity. The UK-based label focuses on experimental, electronic, and folk-influenced music, often blending atmospheric electronics with organic instrumentation. The identity is built around the idea of a shared terrain: each release distinct, but part of the same landscape.

The visual language draws directly from cartography. A map-inspired framework structures all applications, from sleeves and cassettes to printed matter and website, remaining constant while adapting to each release. Typography references historical map lettering, interpreted through a contemporary grotesque, reinforcing a sense of something both archival and current. A contour-map motif extends across spines, linking releases into a continuous sequence, like coordinates accumulating across a chart. The studio works across the label’s output, applying this structure throughout.

The collaboration is ongoing, allowing the identity to evolve release by release while remaining recognisably part of the same landscape.
